Utah Part 1.... again

We are in Utah. Again.
Last month we finally heard back about Andrews back surgery. We were told that it would be performed on March 18th. So we quickly made arrangements and before we knew it we were on the road. We drove straight through... 24 hours straight. Holy guacamole! I don't ever want to do that again. All things considered though... the kids did great. And Bernie even stopped puking after the first 8 hours or so (she gets extremely car sick. It was disgusting beyond belief)
Andrew had a pre-op appointment with is doctor on the 11the so we came out the weekend before. The night we arrived we jumped right in to the warm weather and had a weenie roast with the Naugle side of the family. The kids were beyond happy and I don't think I even got a single picture of AnDee cause she was just running too fast and in too many different directions. It was a fun night though and a much needed change from the endless hours in the car.

Throughout the next few days AnDee basically lived at Gayle's house, and the boys helped Papa with a lot of yard work. Especially tractor driving. They were very helpful in that category.

Andrew and I snuck off the night before he had to fly back out to Illinois (he had to go back to work for a few days in between his pre-op appointment and his surgery) and went to play soccer with our long lost soccer fam. It was a blast. Frustrating... because Im slow and fat and my body doesn't do what I want it to anymore.. but so fun!
